Our Manufacturing

Quality Manufacturing is Our Aim

Induction hardening is a heat treatment process used to increase the hardness and wear resistance of metal parts. It is commonly used for surface hardening of steel and other ferrous alloys.

Magnatech may use various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to check for cracks, such as magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), ultrasonic testing (UT), or radiographic testing (RT). These methods help ensure the quality and integrity of welded joints by detecting any cracks or defects that may compromise the strength and performance of the weld.

Micro Vickers is a type of hardness test used to determine the hardness of a material, often metals. It measures the resistance of the material to deformation under a small load. In the Micro Vickers test, a diamond indenter with a square base pyramid shape is pressed into the surface of the material with a known force, typically ranging from a few grams to a few kilograms. The size of the indentation left by the indenter is measured optically and used to calculate the Vickers hardness number, which is a measure of the material's hardness. Micro Vickers testing is commonly used in materials science and metallurgy for quality control and research purposes.

An abrasive cutting machine is a type of machine tool used to cut hard materials, such as metal, ceramics, and glass. It works by using abrasive materials, such as diamond or cubic boron nitride, to grind away material from the workpiece, creating the desired shape or cut. Abrasive cutting machines are commonly used in manufacturing and metalworking industries for cutting, shaping, and finishing operations.
